They do have eight public computers available with internet. Printing is 15 cents a page (a bit expensive), photocopying is 10 cents a page. They're open Mondays and Fridays from 9-5, and Tuesday-Thursday 9-8. Closed on weekends, unfortunately. There aren't very many programs offered here outside of storytime for kids, and computer literacy.

Harmsworth is unusual. You'll enter into a large atrium, which seems to be used for displaying town trophies and local art, and serves as the entrance to what appears to be a small, locked auditorium. The second floor is partly blocked off for the upper part of this auditorium, and is a continuation of the local art gallery downstairs. Opposite the stairs is the local library.

Given how few books are available in this town, it seems worth mentioning that there are usually a few discards for sale on tables outside the library. The majority though are children's books and books specific to Newfoundland. The library inside is smallish. They have a decent children's and Large Print section, but their foreign language section is limited to juvenile French fiction, and their sci-fi/fantasy collection consists of three shelves of Star Trek novels that would have been discarded decades ago in the larger cities, and a few bestsellers slipped in, seemingly by accident. Unsurprisingly, about a sixth of the collection is specific to Newfoundland. They can try to order in any books around the island, which is helpful.
